New Greenhouse Gas Evaluatior Courses in Malaysia

 
Following the opening of the new Aspects International office in Malaysia, we are running a number of courses, including the high level Lead Green House Gas Evaluator Course.
Joe Reynolds, energy efficiency expert from Aspects International spoke at a recent Energy Efficiency Training Seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The seminar was sponsored by the ADB's Energy Community of Practice, the CAREC Institute (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation), and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) focussing on energy saving technologies, policies, solutions and best practices from around the world.

There were 50 participants from the 10 CAREC member countries, and Armenia and Georgia--composed of representatives from ministries of energy, finance and economy/planning, together with state-owned utility companies and financial institutions.
Joe spoke about the concept of energy efficiency, stakeholders and barriers and also Energy Efficient Technologies in Building, Industry, Power and Transport Sectors.  Participants discussed challenges and opportunities for energy efficiency as a driver of economic growth in the region.
